As its name indicates, the multi-functional sliding door performs a number of tasks. The convenience of every automatic sliding door welcomes the passer-by and the visitor. In an emergency or when a high volume of traffic is encountered (for example in a concert hall) its break-out function provides a rapid and reliable way out. Conversely, individual leaves can be locked in position to keep out unwanted visitors.
All door leaves of the automatic escape route door (also called rescue and escape route doors) can be opened manually in every position, thus instantly opening the door width to its maximum. As well as the standard safety functions such as sensors, additional safeguards for personal safety are incorporated – for instance distances dictated by safety requirements or round profiles which prevent fingers from being trapped. If all door leaves are swung open and pushed aside, a passage is opened which is up to 95 percent of the overall width that would be achieved if the doors were not there.

Security Doors – these are our automatic sliding doors which offer maximum protection against break-ins and vandalism. We have provided these doors with particular design features, of which the following are just a selection: an extremely tough aluminium profile system, seals made from a special material which are designed to form a wedge and a bolting system which we designed ourselves. But these security doors also naturally offer the convenience of an automatic sliding door with all its usual functions.
